PHOTOSYSTEMA

The videomapping for the Chapel of St. Clare in the Botanical Garden of Prague was created as an accompanying element to the winter exhibition of Jiří Pačinek’s glass sculptures.

The projection tells a visual story of plant growth and transformation, drawing on organic forms ranging from cellular structures to tree branching. Its atmosphere is enhanced by a subtle ambient sound layer. The goal of the installation is for viewers to rediscover the charm of winter nature through both image and sound. For the presentation, a custom controller with a hand-modeled joystick was created, allowing the appearance of the animations to be adjusted in real time.

I used real footage of plants from an electron microscope to make my parts of the footage.

We took a 3d scan of the site, I then 3d printed it. It wasnt clean enough for presentation, so I modeled and printed a new one.
